Thanks to my brother Nami Gujjar we were welcomed by this incredible group of women. They were removing sand and dirt in order to clear the area for construction of a dam. The monolithic structure in the background is how the employers measured the amount of earth removed by the woman thus far, and each woman was paid roughly $3 per day. We once worked with a school in this village, and we believe we could do much more!
