Harvest, Rajasthan, India, 2020

Having a small camera in my hands during my walks around my friend's farm was a blessing. Anything in the skies or on the ground was easy to photograph, rather than worrying about a tripod and heavy gear. For this negative just printed, I was hanging out with the family as they were working the field when I saw this juxtaposition of burned and unburned. The young women thought it funny that I would even notice, and even funnier that I'd make a picture. These are the images which will remind me forever of my time under lockdown, and the family which made that time way more than comfortable.

Thank you Nami and family!
