The past three days have been spent making digital proofs of the film from India, after picking it all up from DC earlier this week. While many of the faces are familiar to me, some jump off of the screen as the most wonderful surprises. Here are just three!
On March 14 of this year these three girls stepped in front of the lens and had their portraits made. While perhaps this was their first time with someone from outside of their village, perhaps this was their first formal photograph… their presence in front of the lens was filled with confidence and strength.
