The feeling of having found another on this incredible island who truly understands the work is beyond incredible. What is even more amazing is that we have yet to finish our documentation of her immeasurable talent, with next summer being a most promising one on the island thanks in large part to her presence!
She is a young model at my friend's school in Havana, and has another professional life separate from modeling. We had never worked with her before, and when she stepped in front of the camera all of us realized her immeasurable talents. Aside from her patience with the lens, aside from her natural beauty, it was her ability to communicate with the camera which impressed me most. She just understood the language of film, perfectly.
I certainly look forward to the film images as the film is processed, and share her digital images until then.
